The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has taken a significant step toward strengthening Ghana football after officially sealing a landmark partnership agreement with global automobile brand JAC Motors and its authorized Ghanaian distributor, Tryton Motors Ltd.
The partnership, unveiled at a ceremony held at the GFA Conference Hall on Tuesday, is expected to provide massive support to the country’s football ecosystem, from the senior national teams to domestic competitions.
A major highlight of the agreement is the direct sponsorship of the Black Stars’ FIFA World Cup 2026 campaign. The partnership will also extend support to the Ghana Premier League and the Women’s Premier League, signaling a strong commitment to the growth of football across all levels in the country.
As part of the sponsorship package, JAC Motors will provide luxury vehicle rewards for outstanding performers and champions. Some of the featured models include the JAC JS2, JS4, and JS6, which are expected to serve as incentives for excellence in Ghana football.

The GFA also announced an exciting reward package for the Black Stars ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The player voted as Ghana’s best performer at the tournament will receive a brand-new vehicle courtesy of JAC Motors.

In addition, champions of the Ghana Premier League and the Women’s Premier League for the 2026/27 season will also drive home new vehicles as part of the partnership benefits.
Speaking at the unveiling ceremony, officials from both the GFA and Tryton Motors emphasized that the collaboration goes beyond sponsorship. Led by Tryton Motors CEO Jihad Hijazi, the initiative seeks to enhance the visibility of Ghana football, boost national pride, and provide vital logistical support for clubs and players.
The agreement represents another important milestone in the GFA’s efforts to attract corporate investment into Ghana football while creating motivation for players, clubs, and stakeholders.
With the Black Stars preparing for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and domestic football steadily growing, the partnership with JAC Motors is expected to inject fresh energy and excitement into the local game.
