The Ghana Meteorological Agency (GMet) has warned of moderate rainstorm in southern parts of Ghana.
GMet has therefore cautions persons living in low lying areas to beware of floods.
This is contained in a weather forecast sighted by 3news on May 30.
“A moderate rainstorm sited over southern Togo is in its westward trajectory towards our country. It is expected to induce cloudiness and produces thunderstorms with rain overs most places in southern Ghana from this afternoon into the evening. Gusty winds may accompany the storm,” the statement indicated
“The General Public is advised to remain alert and take necessary precautions,” GMet said.
“Flash floods are likely over low lying areas,” the Agency cautioned.
