Kayverli has shared a voice note he claims was sent to him by Asantewaa’s husband, in which the man expressed concerns about their unresolved marriage and asked for his intervention.
According to Kayverli, Asantewaa’s husband told him that the marriage had not officially ended and urged him to speak with his sister about their situation.
“The marriage is not over yet, but she wants me to live her life the way she wants it. Talk to your sister. This is a matter of the heart. I don’t want to act out of anger and end up in prison,” Kayverli quoted him as saying in the voice note.
Kayverli, who has been publicly speaking about his fallout with his sister, also claimed that Asantewaa had been referring to her husband as her “ex-husband” despite the absence of a divorce.
“My sister hasn’t divorced her husband yet. There’s nothing like ex-husband. She would come on social media and write ‘failed marriage’ as if the husband was the problem,” he said.
He further claimed that Asantewaa’s husband had contacted him several times to complain about issues in their relationship.
“After all the things you’ve done to this man, he sometimes calls me to lament to me as his brother-in-law,” Kayverli alleged.
According to him, the situation has affected Asantewaa’s husband’s relationship with his family, claiming that her public comments about her personal life had caused tension.
He also referenced Asantewaa’s recent posts involving musician and socialite AMG Armani, saying her husband questioned why she continued describing him as an ex-partner when they were not divorced.
“Her husband called me to complain that they’re not divorced yet, so he doesn’t know why she kept calling him her ex-husband,” Kayverli alleged.
