Jacinta Ngobese, leader of the March and March movement in South Africa, has issued a stern warning to Ghanaians amid rising tensions between the two countries.
In a recent statement, Ngobese said that if Ghanaians retaliate against South African businesses operating in Ghana, South Africa will respond by targeting Ghanaian churches and businesses in South Africa.
“If Ghanaians go after any South African businesses, we will go after Ghanaian churches and businesses in South Africa,” she warned.
Her comments come after Ghana evacuated hundreds of its citizens from South Africa following xenophobic attacks, sparking debate over possible retaliatory actions.
