Stonebwoy has confirmed that his earlier posts about “fàke love” and “convenient friendships” were directed at Sarkodie and Shatta Wale.
He made the clarification during a TikTok live session, saying he was never trying to hide who the posts were about or allow people to create their own interpretations.
“Everybody can know that I was referring to Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, done. I wasn’t trying to beat about the bush.
“Any other explanation that anybody was giving was their opinion, but I never came out to say I was deflecting the reality,” he said.
Stonebwoy had questioned the relationship between Sarkodie and Shatta Wale, describing their friendship as one based on “convenience and timing” and accusing them of showing “fàke love.”
He also questioned their fans over the mixed signals coming from the two artistes.
“Are you guys friends or not? Because you keep confusing your followers,” he said.
Stonebwoy said he did not stop at making the comments online.
He said he also addressed the matter directly with Sarkodie because he does not believe in hiding behind social media posts.
“When I made my factual tweets, I still went ahead and addressed it to him because I’m not fàke.
“Whatever I say online, I can say in person, and that’s what I posted,” he added.
