Shatta Wale has called on Ghanaians to support Stonebwoy, while also claiming that the dancehall musician said Stonebwoy’s former manager, Blakk Cedi, still loves him despite their past differences.
“I know Stonebwoy personally, and for me to even walk with Blakk Cedi in Jamaica, you guys should know there will be a conversation. Blakk Cedi still loves Stonebwoy, but people need to come out and help him,” Shatta Wale said during a Tiktok live.
He added that Stonebwoy’s temperament was one reason some people were no longer close to him.
“They all know that because of his bad temperament, that’s why they’re all not with him,” he stated.
Shatta Wale also urged Ghanaians to pay attention to what Stonebwoy might be going through, drawing on his own experiences of dealing with criticism on social media.
He said he had learnt to distinguish between comments worth considering and those he needed to ignore.
“I’ve been on social media so many times, and people have said things that I had to decide which one to take and which one to ignore, which has helped my life,” he said.
“With him, Ghanaians should help him. He’s going through something that we need to pay attention to,” Shatta Wale added.
