An okada rider got more than he bargained for after questioning whether a Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) fire tender had water during an emergency response.

According to eyewitnesses, the rider openly claimed that the fire truck responding to an incident was not carrying water, echoing a criticism often directed at firefighters during fire outbreaks.

However, firefighters were quick to challenge the assertion. In a moment that has since gone viral on social media, the crew reportedly escorted the rider to the fire tender and gave him a firsthand demonstration to prove that the vehicle was indeed fully equipped with water.

The incident drew laughter from onlookers as the rider received what many online users have jokingly described as a “live fact-checking session” from the firefighters.
