Actress Vivian Jill Lawrence broke down emotionally as she said her final goodbye to her late sister, Mabel Adwoa Intuah, popularly known as Aunty Mabel.
During Mabel’s lying-in-state at the State House in Accra on Thursday, October 22, 2026, Vivian expressed her pain over the sudden loss, questioning why her sister had to die when they still had so much to achieve in life.
“Is this how to die? We were not done with this life. We still need to make money, so why? You’ve made me feel so weak,” she cried in an emotional plea to her late sister.
Mabel was the founder and CEO of fashion label Mayan Stitches. She died suddenly on July 23, 2026, weeks after celebrating her 50th birthday.
Her funeral is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, at the Underbridge Event Centre, followed by a thanksgiving service on Sunday.
