TikToker Priscilla Kyeremaa, popularly known as Priscy Wan, has revealed that she has had cosmetic facial enhancements due to years of online harassment about her appearance.
In an interview with Emelia Brobbey on the Okukuseku Talk Show on Tuesday, June 2, the content creator explained that although she has never changed her body, she has made certain changes to her face.
“I haven’t touched my body, but I have touched my face a couple of times,” she disclosed.
Priscy Wan claims that because she must continuously appear on camera for her TikTok video, trolls frequently made fun of her uneven facial characteristics.
“People used to bully me because I have an asymmetrical face, which I am not ashamed of,” she said.
She described how, after observing the disparaging remarks she frequently received online, a woman who specializes in facial balancing contacted her via TikTok.
“She sent me a DM and said she was into facial balancing and had realised people bully me a lot. She asked me to come around. I agreed and said I’m an influencer, so if you’re going to pay me and I’m also going to do it for free, why not? I’ll come and try it and see if it works for me,” she explained.
Priscy Wan emphasized that she did not have surgery, pointing out that only dermal fillers were used to improve specific face features and provide balance.
“It was just fillers on my nose bridge, gave me some chin and raised my lips as well. With my cheeks, we needed some balance, so she added some fillers in my jawline so it could balance it for me,” she said.
The TikTok celebrity went on to say that she had no problem acknowledging the surgery and that she thinks people should be allowed to choose how they want to look without worrying about being judged.
